Behind the Numbers
We started TasklyPlanix because too many Vietnamese businesses were drowning in spreadsheets that didn't tell them why their budgets went off track. Just numbers with no story.
How We Got Here
Back in 2019, I was working with a manufacturing client who kept missing their quarterly targets. They had all the data but couldn't figure out where things veered off course. That's when it clicked — most budget tools show you the damage after it happens. Nobody was teaching businesses to spot the warning signs early.
So we built something different. Our approach combines variance analysis with practical teaching. We don't just hand over reports. We sit with your team, walk through the deviations, and help you build systems that catch problems before they compound.
Since 2020, we've worked with 47 Vietnamese companies — from small family operations to mid-sized exporters. Every engagement teaches us something new about how businesses actually use financial data.
Our Three-Layer Method
Most consultants stop at telling you what went wrong. We go deeper — teaching you to identify patterns, understand root causes, and adjust before small issues become expensive ones.
Pattern Recognition Training
We teach your finance team to spot early indicators of budget drift. Think of it as reading weather patterns before the storm hits — recognizing when spending velocity changes or when cost drivers shift unexpectedly.
Root Cause Analysis Framework
Deviations rarely happen in isolation. We train teams to trace back from the variance to the operational decisions that caused it. This creates accountability and prevents the same mistakes next quarter.
Adjustment Protocol Design
Knowing there's a problem isn't enough. We help you build specific response protocols — clear steps your team follows when certain thresholds are crossed. No more emergency meetings trying to figure out what to do.
Continuous Monitoring Systems
Budget management isn't a monthly task. We implement lightweight daily and weekly check systems that take 10 minutes but catch issues while they're still manageable. Real-time awareness without overwhelming your staff.
Who Actually Does This Work
We're not a big firm. Right now it's me and a small network of finance professionals I've worked with for years. I keep the team intentionally small because I believe in direct involvement — when you work with TasklyPlanix, you're working with people who've personally trained dozens of finance teams.
This isn't a side project for us. Budget deviation analysis might sound dry, but watching a business gain control over their finances and stop hemorrhaging money on preventable overruns? That never gets old.

What Guides Our Work
Practical Over Perfect
We'd rather give you a deviation tracking system you'll actually use every week than a sophisticated model that collects dust. Good enough and consistently applied beats theoretically perfect but ignored.
Teaching, Not Just Consulting
Our goal is to make ourselves less necessary over time. If your team depends on us for every analysis two years from now, we've failed you. Real success means building internal capability.
Context-Aware Solutions
What works for a Hanoi tech startup won't work for a Mekong Delta agricultural exporter. We adapt methodologies to your industry, your team's skill level, and your actual operational constraints.
Ready to Stop Guessing Where Your Budget Goes?
We're currently scheduling initial consultations for September 2025. These are two-hour working sessions where we review your current budget tracking process and identify specific weak points in your deviation monitoring.
